Do I need a Domain Name to order Dedicated
Virtual Server?
No. You do not need a domain name. You will have a
Remote Desktop Access and you can use your Dedicated IP address that
comes with your DVS.
What software comes installed with the
server?
We offer Windows Server 2008 64/Bit DATACENTER Edition.
If you wish to have any additional software installed on your server
please open new request in via a support ticket.
When will my server be ready?
Our general turn around time is 1-3 business days
after your order has been placed and verified.
Do you backup my Dedicated Virtual Server?
We take images of your hard disks every day. In
case you need your hard disk could be restored to some state back in
time.
Can I send you hardware to add to my server?
No, we do not allow customers to add their own
hardware to the dedicated servers.
Do I have root access to my server? Can I
install my software after the server is online?
You have root access to your server and you may
install any software you wish on the server. Please note that outside
third party software is not supported by our technical support team.
If I cancel my server do I get a refund?
You will get a refund only if your cancelation is
made in the first 30 days of the date your order has been made. You can
cancel any time after the 30 days period without a refund and without
any cancelation penalties.
Do you have 24/7/365 support ?
Yes, we have onsite personnel 24/7/365 for reboots
and assistance with your server.
What is the charge for going over your
allotted bandwidth?
The for bandwidth overage is $2.00/GB.
Do you have cPanel available on your servers?
No, but you can always download
cPanel from your server and install it.
Do you have a control panel solution for
Windows?
You can download and install Helm for Windows.
Can I purchase RAM or hard drives and have
you install it in the server?
No, all hardware components of our rented servers
are property of Bizhostnet. If you wish to have an upgrade you will rent
the hardware from us and we will install it.
Do you allow Adult Content on your servers?
No, we do NOT allow Adult Content
on our network.
Do you allow IRC services on your servers
?
No, we do NOT allow any type of IRC services on
our network.
Can I get a custom configuration in the setup
of my server?
Yes, you can put your special instructions in
request from you Control Panel.
How many mail accounts can I create on my
server?
You can create as many mail accounts as you need,
you can also setup auto-responders, forwarding, aliasing, and any other
mail services. Note that SPAM is NOT Allowed.
Do I need an IP for each domain on my server?
You do not need an IP for each domain on your
server; in fact, you only need one IP for the entire server.
Can I get additional IP addresses?
Yes you may get additional IP addresses, please
open a request from your Control Panel and we can let you know the
pricing depending on how many IP addresses you require. All IP addresses
have to justified to ARIN.
Can you restore my Administrative password ?
No. After we release the initial administrative
password and you change the password we do not have administrative
access to your server anymore and we will not be able to restore your
password. Please always save your Administrative password on safe place.
Who is responsible for the management and
maintenance of the Virtual Dedicated Server after it is online?
At this time full management is not provided on our Window 2008 Servers,
so you will be responsible for installing software, maintaining
software, etc on the Virtual Server. In the near future we will be
offering full management plans for those who require it. Reboots, and
reloads are provided free of charge, 24/7/364!
